Atelier Scénario

Avec Régis Jaulin

Pendant cinq matinées, des étudiants issus des écoles d’art, de cinéma et d’audiovisuel marocaines vont imaginer et écrire un scénario d’animation à partir d’une contrainte imposée. Les techniques de base de la dramaturgie seront ainsi enseignées à partir des problèmes concrets rencontrés au fil de l’écriture. L’accent sera mis sur l’adéquation entre l’histoire et la technique d’animation, en essayant d’aboutir à une narration des plus visuelles.

Régis Jaulin est scénariste depuis 2002. Il est auteur de plus de quatre-vingt épisodes de séries d’animation diffusées en France (TF1, France 3, M6..) et à l’international. Il collabore ainsi avec différents producteurs. Régis Jaulin intervient régulièrement comme Script-doctor dans le cinéma. En 2013, il est vice-président de la Guilde Française des Scénaristes.

Atelier Réalisation

Avec Denis Walgenwitz

Denis Walgenwitz accompagnera les participants de cet atelier dans la réalisation d’une courte séquence animée. En utilisant des outils numériques relativement simples et accessibles, ils devront ébaucher un récit qui les confrontera à des choix de découpage, de Story-board et d’animation dans la perspective d’une présentation à la fin du festival.

Les ateliers Scénarimage

A partir des quelques règles fondamentales de mise en scène et de découpage, la finalité de cet atelier est de créer le Story-board d’une histoire courte. L’accent sera mis sur le découpage des plans, le détail du jeu des personnages, dans un décor qui peut être suggéré. Le plus important est de raconter une histoire que de disposer d’un fort bagage en dessin. Objectif : rendre claires ses intentions.

Avec Fabrice Fouquet

Fabrice Fouquet commence sa carrière dans des studios d’animation à différents postes. Il signe en 2002, Cycle Logical, son premier court-métrage et réalise, dans la foulée, la série Zoé Kézako. D’autres séries suivront avec toujours une forte implication dès l’écriture et une mise en scène très graphique. Nos Voisins les Pirates, adaptée d’un livre de Jonny Duddle, est sa dernière série en date.

Atelier Scénarimage 2

Avec Augusto Zanovello

Né en 1965 au Brésil, Augusto Zanovello s’installe en 1985 en France et poursuit ses études à Paris III et les Gobelins avant d’intégrer l’école Louis Lumière où il obtient son diplôme Section cinéma en 1991. Il réalise plusieurs séries et court-métrages dont Lettres de femmes, Grand Prix Courts Compet’ FICAM 2014. En 2015, il monte Komadoli studio, société de production spécialisée dans l’animation en Stop-motion. Il prépare actuellement son premier longmétrage.

Avec Coke Rioboo

L.I.A. (Animated Image Lab) est une initiative de Coke Rioboo, artiste espagnol, qui ambitionne de promouvoir la production d’animation indépendante par le biais d’ateliers itinérants organisés dans le monde entier au sein de communautés dont l’accès à la formation est limité. Coke Rioboo propose à Meknès un atelier dont la finalité est d’initier de jeunes artistes au processus de production et aux techniques de l’animation en Stop motion. Il offre ainsi aux participants les conseils techniques nécessaires pour produire et diffuser leurs propres travaux.
Musicien, compositeur et animateur, Coke Riobóo réalise et anime trois courtsmétrages et une série Web. Il a composé la bande originale de plusieurs courts-métrages et trois longs-métrages. Il a également animé des ateliers d’animation à travers le monde. En 2006, Coke remporte le prix Goya pour son court-métrage Le voyage de Said.

Atelier autour de l’animation en stop-motion

Avec Gaël Abegg Gauthey

Cet atelier a pour objectif de réaliser une séquence de stop motion (et éventuellement techniques mixtes comme le rotoscoping) pouvant s’inscrire dans le cadre d’un travail de commande. La proposition du sujet moteur pour cet atelier est la réalisation d’un Jingle / générique pour le FICAM^®.

Les enjeux de production lors du développement de projets d’animation

Avec Odile Perrin, coordinatrice de formation et enseignante aux Gobelins

Lors de cette intervention, Odile Perrin décryptera les mécanismes de la création et comment appréhender le marché et identifier les partenaires essentiels pour le passage en production.

Odile Perrin enseigne la production pour le film d’animation dans le cadre de la Licence Professionnelle Technique et Activité de l’Image et du Son. Elle coordonne également Animation Sans Frontières, laboratoire de développement de projets pour de jeunes talents de l’animation européenne. Elle est également Chef de projet de l’école en ligne d’animation Anima Podi lancée en octobre 2018 par Gobelins, Ecole de l’Image.
